Our Story

SDE, Ltd was founded in the  mid-1970s in Keswick, Iowa, operating under the name Schmidt Dairy Equipment. During this time, our primary focus was hauling new and used dairy equipment, milk tanks and farm machinery for dairy equipment manufacturers in the midwest.

 

As we continued to develop and evolve our services, we cultivated a strong relationship with a well-known agriculture equipment manufacturer in Central Iowa, quickly becoming a preferred vendor in hauling their wide variety of machinery and equipment.

 

In the early 2000s, we expanded and diversified  our business to include industries outside of agriculture and began hauling for other prominent large equipment manufacturers in the Midwest, prompting our official name change to SDE, Ltd.  As of 2022, we remain the preferred vendor for many large companies in Iowa. We are proud of the partnerships we have built and are dedicated to providing the best hauling services locally and nationally for new and existing customers.
